Two words: sloth meltdown. Oh yes, KRISTEN BELL is here, and someone had to mention it! Known for her roles in "Veronica Mars," "Get Him to the Greek" and "Gossip Girl," the actress and new mom returns to Ellen to talk about her latest project, the icicle-y animated menagerie that is Disney's "Frozen." The film is being called the studio's best musical since "Beauty and the Beast," and what's more exciting than a winter wonderland, funny reindeer, talking snowmen, mystical trolls, and not one but two princesses?! As always, the starlet brings surprises, passion, and great stories about the movie, her new baby, hubby and ongoing sloth infatuation. Happy tears to come.
All talk of ice will soon melt away when JASON MRAZ AND TRAVIE MCCOY take the stage. With McCoy's track "Rough Water" blowing up the charts, the Gym Class Heroes frontman puts the tinge of soul into his already eclectic vibrato by bringing the soulful singer-songwriter Mraz into the mix. The new single marks McCoy's first solo work since his hit "Billionaire" in 2010, and adds to a growing repertoire that includes records like "Stereo Hearts" and "Cupid's Chokehold." Mraz, a veteran in his own right, conquered the international ranks with hits like "The Remedy (I Won't Worry)" and "I'm Yours." Together, the dynamic duo generates a blend all of their own, and are a magnetic force to enliven Ellen's stage!
Plus, it ain't "No Lie," 2 CHAINZ will be holding down the 1s and 2s as Ellen's guest DJ. "U.O.E.N.O."* (*you don't even know) how it's going to pop!
On Tuesday, Ellen gets icy hot!
Kristen Bell, Dax Shepard Wanted Wedding to Be "Lowest-Key Day Possible," Ate Sandwiches
Low-key lovebirds! Details from Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard's paltry $142 October wedding keep trickling out -- and the couple seems to be basking in the title of "World's Worst Wedding."
The House of Lies actress, 33, appeared on the Tonight Show on Nov. to discuss her ow-key, big day with Jay Leno. She explained how she and Shepard, 38, had completed the appropriate paperwork online necessary to get their marriage license -- but the couple had missed an essential component on their big day: They forgot to bring someone to officiate their wedding at the courthouse!
"The court officials said, 'No, you actually have to have someone ordaining you.' And I said, 'But we don't, please let us be married now," recalled the mom of 7-month-old daughter Lincoln.
In a panic, the couple frantically texted all of their friends, "because a few of them are ordained," explained Bell. "Finally, someone piped up -- who was actually in the courthouse -- and said 'I can actually marry you, if you want right now.,'" she continued. "And we said, 'Boom, let's do it.' And we got it over with."
Although the funny duo got married before a complete stranger, their friends joined them after the ceremony. "It was just Kristen and I at this lonely courthouse so they brought us this cake afterwards," Shepard explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Oct. 28. The confection read, "The World's Worst Wedding," he proudly shared with the show host. "How many people can say they threw 'The World's Worst Wedding?'"
"We wanted the lowest-key day possible," Bell told Leno on Thursday, who added that their wedding brunch consisted of "sandwiches." By Nivel
