Courteney Cox and Snow Patrol rocker Johnny McDaid are living in perfect harmony. Walking the red carpet outside New York City's SVA Theatre at the April 24 premiere of her directorial debut, Just Before I Go, the lovebirds were anything but shy about showing -- and discussing -- their affection for each other.
"He supports me in every way," the Cougar Town actress, 49, gushed to Us Weekly of her boyfriend, 37. "He supports me creatively. He really believed in the movie...and not just because he likes me, though I know that helps."
In fact, McDaid's band wrote three songs for the film, which stars Kate Walsh, Olivia Thirlby, Missi Pyle, Seann William Scott, and Garret Dillahunt. Asked what it's like to work together, the Irish musician quipped, "We get to kiss between takes."
"Courteney is the most completely confident person I've ever met -- at everything," he added. "She gets music. She gets art. She gets the way a scene gets constructed, the way dialogue works. And she puts it all together in her mind and then explains it to the world and makes movies that make people laugh and cry, squirm and jump, all those things."
The couple -- who were first spotted out together in December 2013, when they attended Jennifer Aniston's holiday party in L.A. -- were "inseparable" at Cox's premiere, an onlooker tells Us. Later that night, Cox watched excitedly as her man performed with Snow Patrol bandmate Gary Lightbody during the Bombay Sapphire-hosted Tribeca Film Festival party at Flatiron Room.
"There was a brief moment where Courteney had to take the cast photo, and Johnny just stood on the side gazing at her," the eyewitness says. "You can tell they're totally smitten with each other. She looks so comfortable around him."
The two are indeed serious. A source previously told Us that a wedding would be happening "sooner than later," adding, "They are talking about having a child together." Cox is already mom to daughter Coco, 9, with ex-husband David Arquette. by nivel
