Kate Winslet Talks Failed Marriages, Husband Ned Rocknroll: "He's Absolutely Everything to Me"

Third time’s the charm! Kate Winslet has had plenty of love interests, both on-screen and off, but the Oscar-winning actress, 39, seems to have found her perfect match in husband number three Ned Rocknroll.

In a new interview with WSJ Magazine, The Dressmaker star dished about her husband of almost three years, saying, “Thank God for Ned — really. He’s just so incredibly supportive, and he’s so much fun. He’s absolutely everything to me. And to all of us.” By Nivel

Unlike businessman Rocknroll, Winslet’s first two husbands were film directors. She was married to Jim Threapleton from 1998 to 2001, and they share daughter Mia, 14; she and American Beauty director Sam Mendes were married from 2003 to 2010, and they share son Joe, 11. And though she’s currently on her third marriage, the British actress doesn’t think it has anything to do with her life in the spotlight.

Though she’s an A-list star, Winslet has managed to keep her personal life private, for the most part.

“No one really knows what has happened in my life,” she continued. “No one really knows why my first marriage didn’t last; no one knows why my second didn’t. And I’m proud of those silences.” (Winslet’s 2012 wedding to Rocknroll was also kept entirely secret.)

But the mother of three (she welcomed son Bear Blaze with Rocknroll in December 2013) doesn’t let her failed romances get to her. In fact, she still likes to have plenty of fun. After winning an Oscar in 2009 for The Reader, Winslet (who was nominated five other times prior to her win) revealed that she keeps the trophy in her bathroom.

“The whole point is for everybody to pick it up and go, ‘I’d like to thank my son and my dad’ — and you can always tell when someone has, because they’re in there a little bit longer after they flushed,” she quipped. “They’ll come out looking slightly pink-cheeked. It’s hysterical.”

Never has there been a more perfect potential match made in Malibu! Carl’s Jr.’s blonde bombshell Charlotte McKinney spent her Tuesday, Sept. 29, afternoon with hottie Scott Eastwood. According to an eyewitness, the genetically gifted duo were thoroughly enjoying each other’s company on the Malibu pier. Click here to see Charlotte's raciest pics.

“They were all over each other — holding hands and getting touchy-feely,” the source tells Us of McKinney, who was clad in a denim shirt and white shorts, and Eastwood, who opted for striped board shorts. “They were really cute and would make a gorgeous couple.”

The Longest Ride actor, 29, and model-turned-Joe Dirt 2 actress, 22, enjoyed the sunshine and ocean breeze before venturing out into the ocean to paddle board.

According to another source, however, the two aren’t dating — yet.

“She is not dating Stephen Dorff any longer,” the insider tells Us of McKinney, who was previously linked to the 42-year-old Immortals actor and was last spotted with him at Nobu Malibu on Sept. 5. “They broke up a few weeks ago.” As for Clint Eastwood’s so-hot-it’s-ridiculous son? The source says “we’ll see where it goes,” explaining that they just started hanging out.

Million Dollar Listing Stars Josh Altman, Heather Bilyeu's Wedding Is Back On! All the Details on Their Spring Nuptials.

Second time's the charm for these two! After putting their July 2014 nuptials on hold, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles stars Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu are recommitting themselves to wedding planning -- and each other. In the new issue of Us Weekly, the betrothed-again stars reveal they've set a new date: April 2, 2016.

"Heather and I are in a great place right now," Altman, 36, tells Us. "We're happy and everything is good and we've kind of thrown out all the other noise. Last year we were trying to do everything at once and we couldn't, even though we felt we could. And that was one of the reasons why we canceled the wedding."

Now, Bilyeu says, they're focused on what really matters -- each other. "I think that the craziness of last year really helped put things in perspective for us, and as difficult as that was, it did bring us closer," she explains. "It made us kind of focus on what we wanted individually and then what we wanted as a couple for our future, which has ultimately made us realize that we do want the same things out of life and for one another."

They've also come to an agreement about their wedding. Altman, who previously wanted a big, over-the-top production, has scaled back his vision to something more in line with Bilyeu's preference for a small celebration.

"Last year, our guest list had become the who's who of my clients, and it shouldn't be like that," the It's Your Move author shares. "It should be about us."

With that in mind, the couple of five years are planning a more intimate ceremony with around 90 family members and friends at the Aspen Art Museum in Colorado.

"There's a rooftop deck that overlooks the mountain. You can be more effortless with the details when you have such beautiful surroundings," the bride-to-be tells Us of the location.

Given that it's Aspen, there may still be a chill in the air come April, but Bilyeu has some ideas about how to keep their guests nice and toasty. She's been combing Pinterest for ideas, like little cups of tomato soup with grilled cheese sandwiches, and passed trays of hot toddies and hot cocoa.

The husband and wife-to-be have also hired an expert to help plan the event -- Altman's mom, Judy. "She has great taste and I trust her with everything. And she's the only one who can really handle Josh!" Bilyeu quips of her future mother-in-law.

"She is having a great time doing it," Altman adds. "She knows when to call me and when not to call me ... and obviously I love the relationship my mom and Heather have. It's just kind of a family thing, and it's a lot of fun."

Altman's new book, It's Your Move -- about how he rose from the mailroom to the top of the real estate game, and the lessons he learned along the way -- is in stores now.
